Uttar Pradesh Uttar Pradesh attracts a large number of tourists. Uttar Pradesh is ‘the City Of Nawabs’ and the capital of Uttar Pradesh is Lucknow.  The famous Taj Mahal of Agra is located in this state. It also hosts the world famous ‘Kumbh Mela’. Lucknow : Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh and is one of the most important tourist place. The are lots of mosques to visit here. Places like Bara Imambara, Chota Imambara, The Residency, Sikandar Bagh etc. are well known places to be visited here.
Allahabad : Allahabad is one of the largest cities of the State of Uttar Pradesh in India. it is known as the pace of ‘SANGAM’ because two Holy Rivers ‘Yamuna and Ganga’ meet here and this place is called The river of ‘Enlightenment’. There also situated the famous Hanuman Temple at Sangam.



Agra : Set along the banks of the graceful Yamuna River in Uttar Pradesh, Agra is a city drenched in history and rich cultural heritage. The Agra Monuments are some of the finest tourist attractions in India during your tour to India. Amongst a host of monuments in Agra, the Taj Mahal is acclaimed as one of the most visited tourist destinations in India. The daunting structure was the brainchild of the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan and was built in the loving memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Other tourist attractions in Agra are Agra Fort, Delhi Gate, Fatehpur Sikri etc.

Ayodhya : Ayodhya is situated on the right bank of the river Ghagra or Saryu, as it is called within sacred precincts. Ayodhya is the city where lord Rama the seventh incarnation of lord Vishnu took birth. Ayodhya is pre-eminently a city of temples yet, all places of worship here, are not of the Hindu religion only. At Ayodhya several religions have grown like Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam etc.
Sarnath : In the deer park of Sarnath Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and Sarnath is the place where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna. Sarnath is at a distance of 10km from Varanasi.



Mussoorie : There are many hill stations too located in Uttar Pradesh. Mussoorie is located in the Garhwal hills. Due to its immense natural beauty, Mussoorie is known as the queen of hill stations. Mussoorie is an excellent respite for tourists and people who want relief from the hot sultry conditions of the plains. Nature has gifted Mussoorie everything which makes a place beautiful.
